Spring found the Hall hosting a quiz night in aid of hall funds. This was organised and run by Marjory Downward. The night was hailed as a great success and well supported raising some £103 for the hall. Many thanks to Marjory for all her hard work.

A Tai Chi class started on a Tuesday late afternoon and has continued to run being very well received but requires additional numbers if it is to continue so why not come down and join in with some relaxation.

Following a somewhat quiet springtime the hall had several events.

The committee set about undertaking a major garden tidy up which left the garden rather bare and a coffee morning was held in aid of funds to restock the garden. This was followed by a Winter Fayre in November to raise further funds for the garden. Stall holders were invited to attend and coffee and home bakes were offered. The two events raised some £400 and it is hoped that the garden will be positively blooming this year.

Following the committee successfully obtaining funding several contractors were invited to submit quotes and work on the new driveway and car parking facilities commenced and were completed in October. Quite an improvement on the previous potholes.
