Roseisle Local Wildlife

Thanks to local resident Wendy Wall for sending these pictures of a Pine Marten which she spotted in her back garden this morning  in Roseisle. DSCF0041 (1)

The European pine marten (Martes martes) makes their habitat in well-wooded areas where they usually build their dens in hollow trees or scrub-covered fields.

For more details about the Pine Marten in Scotland see this link to Scottish Natural Heritage

Listen to this recording from the British library of  Pine Marten
