We are having strange weather for Moray – all in all we are having mostly dry mornings with showers in the afternoon. On Wednesday and on Friday there should be heavy rain in the afternoon.
We seem to be still waiting for a Summer! Mind you the plants aren’t complaining about the rain.
So not much watering needed this week unless your hanging-baskets are sheltered under the eaves. A liquid feed will benefit the annual plants in containers.
We’ll be regularly dead-heading in the herbaceous border to keep it looking fresh.
On Sunday there is a Scotland’s Garden Scheme Garden Opening at An-Grianan near Rafford between 11.00am and 4.00pm. It’s always fun to visit other people’s gardens and at the same time help worthwhile charities.
While on the subject we had a lovely Open Garden day on Saturday – met loads of really nice, interesting people! Thanks to everyone who came and supported the SGS, and CHAS and Alzheimer Scotland (our chosen charities).
Going to be sowing another batch of Spinach and, as usual, on with the weeding!!
