Community Blether

Charities supported in 2017

The College of Roseisle is a rural community based in Moray in the North East of Scotland.

Once a month we meet, to have a blether, over scones and tea while raising money for charities supported by local residents.

January 2017 starts with raising funds for the Nepal Trust and supporting local resident Tony Sharpe who is Vice Chairman/Fundraise Director for this charity.

You can view their website details by clicking on the image below.

The Nepal Trust is dedicated to working together with communities of the Upper Karnali River Region of North West Nepal by responding to their needs for improved access to basic health, education, employment, food security & renewable energy resources. The Nepal Trust contributes to this by strengthening the ability of poor communities to help themselves to improve their livelihoods.

 Moray Supports Refugees

Our February Coffee morning was attended by over 40 people who arrived in support of this local charity. A substantial amount of funds were raised as well as donations of clothes for Syrian refugee families afflicted by the conflict. We would like to thanks all those who attended and donated to this cause.
